Job Description

  • Administer and interpret HR policies and procedures.
  • Provide workforce relations support, including investigations and dispute resolution.
  • Facilitate compensation-related activities such as promotions, salary adjustments, and compensation coaching.
  • Support compensation and benefits administration, issue resolution, analysis, recommendations, and approvals.
  • Assist with payroll-related activities, including time and absence, pay processing, allowances, annual leave.
  • Coach managers and employees on performance management processes.
  • Lead recruitment and onboarding activities, including job postings, screening, interviews, background checks, offer preparation, employee setup, plus offboarding and exit interviews.
  • Coordinate and deliver talent development and workplace culture programs.
  • Process employee record changes, promotions, position updates, FTE reconciliations and workforce analysis.
  • Support operational risk assessments and compliance, including local legislation and regulations.
  • Support workplace accident and incident reporting processes.
  • Coordinate alternative work arrangement arrangements and belonging and diversity initiatives.
  • Support workforce restructuring and reduction-in-force processes when required.
  • Develop and deliver workforce communications.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Accountable to deliver the activities of Area HR Generalist 2 and the following essential activities within the assigned area:

  • HR Core, Operations/Compliance, Legal/Workforce Relations essential work
  • HR Policy administration and guiding principles interpretation
  • Workforce relations dispute resolution processes
  • Operational risk analysis & ad hoc reporting
  • Reduction in Force administration and support
  • Exit interviews, administration and reporting
  • Belonging and diversity initiatives lead
  • Local administration of needs for expatriate employees
  • Business requirements/technology roll-out
  • Legal review of employment separations, training and workforce relations investigations

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 8 years combined HR-related experience, education, and/or industry-recognized professional certifications. Masters or HR Certifications are preferred.
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of human resources operations, employment practices, HR disciplines and functions.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and effective partnership with leaders and employees at all levels.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and develop employees and managers.
  • Experience handling sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
  • Proficiency with HR information systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office applications: Strong data and analytical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, in English.
  • Experience investigating and resolving employee relations matters and supporting organizational change initiatives.
  • Can perform the physical requirements of the role, including sitting and computer use for long periods.
  • Willing and able to travel domestically, and internationally, as required.
