The Shift Lead Engineer will be responsible to supervise the operations of the unit by organizing the activity/workflow of the plant and making the interface with other teams (Industrial / Maintenance, SIO Center, Business Developer....)
Support daily site activities for production and maintenance.
Responsible during his duty on plant operations in terms of plant monitoring, start-up and shutdown.
Ensure safety in normal and special maintenance tasks.
Perform normal preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance (day-to-day).
Contribute to site reliability through 24-hour troubleshooting.
Perform equipment and facility rounds for safety, reliability and efficiency purposes.
Under the supervision of the site leader, ensures Occupational Safety, Process Safety and Security for the site, working effectively with new SIO tools including Sacada, optim, perform, APC. Keep his self-training record updated as per assigned.
Lead/supervise the shift team during normal operation, startup and/or troubleshooting to keep production units and all associated equipment running at max productivity and min downtime resulting in cost-effective and safe operations.
Validate the plant’s parameter collected locally on the field during the routine rounds & diary checks sheet and report/acts as per disturbance/troubles referring to operation instructions/procedures.
Monitor and adjust, if needed, the plant’s parameters through the automated system and report abnormalities, if any.
Validate the truck unloading checklists.
Plant start up/shut down using dedicated checklists and procedures. Shift handover using dedicated reports.
Electrical, Electromechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent
Fluent English
1 to 4 years of experience in the Electrical maintenance and instrumentation field in the heavy industry is a must
Experience or strong knowledge of the following:
Strong Knowledge of the Control systems
Air Separation Units or industrial gases is preferred
Maximo background is preferred
Analytical thinking
High level of safety commitment
Good communication skills
Autonomy
Google Suite or MS Office is a must
