Ready to lead some of Europe's largest and most complex hospitality projects?
HOLMRIS B8 is one of Denmark's leading suppliers of furniture and interior design solutions for the professional market, with roots dating back to 1914. Organized into four business areas – Office, Learning, Care and Hospitality – the group combines its own production with a broad supplier network and has been majority-owned since March 2024 by Dutch private equity firm Mentha Capital, with a clear ambition for international growth.
HOLMRIS B8 Hospitality handles the group's largest and most complex international hospitality projects – from client dialogue and sales through execution, handover and operation, spanning interiors, Furniture Fixtures and Equipment and complex deliveries to hotel operators, developers and investors across markets. As part of the continued professionalization of the Project Management function, we are looking for an experienced International Project Director.
You will take overall leadership responsibility for Hospitality's project portfolio across markets, combining strategic oversight and the development and leadership of the local Project Managers (initially around 5-6 people) with hands-on ownership of a select number of the largest and most complex projects yourself.
You are accountable for major projects being delivered with control, clarity and commercial discipline – from handover from Sales through to final close-out. Heavy Project Management experience combined with Contract, Commercial and Change Management is the foundation of the role. Stakeholder management and high EQ are the critical differentiator on top – essential, but not a substitute for hands-on project ownership.
Overall accountability spans: time and schedule; commercials (budget, forecast, margin, exposure); contract (obligations, notices, risk); the full change process; stakeholder governance; leadership of the local Project Managers; and enough technical understanding to credibly challenge architects, engineers and contractors.
A relevant background can come from project management, construction management or development, a contractor or engineering environment, interiors or furniture, fixtures and equipment. What matters is documented, hands-on experience owning large, complex projects through significant commercial and contractual complexity. Specific industry experience is not required.
We expect:
As a person, you are calm and credible under pressure, structured without being bureaucratic, commercial and solution-oriented, and comfortable with difficult decisions and conversations – with a natural ownership mentality.
HOLMRIS B8 is a leading Northern European sales and design company, developing, selling and realizing interior design solutions for the professional market. HOLMRIS B8 combines its own production with a portfolio of more than 1,000 supplier brands, and is a leading specialist within Office, Learning, Care and Hospitality. "We create room for people.”
