Accounting officer

DART Recruitment is seeking to recruit an Accounting Officer on behalf of a well-established hospitality group based in Paphos. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, values accuracy and organisation, and wants to grow within a professional and supportive accounting environment.

The Role

The successful candidate will support the day-to-day accounting operations of the company, ensuring that all financial transactions are recorded accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Record daily accounting transactions in the accounting system
• Process purchase and sales invoices, expenses, receipts and other accounting entries
• Ensure all transactions are correctly coded and supported by the appropriate documentation
• Assist with bank, supplier and customer reconciliations
• Maintain accurate and well-organised accounting records
• Support month-end closing procedures
• Assist with basic financial reports and accounting documentation
• Provide general administrative support to the Accounting Department
• Ensure compliance with internal accounting procedures and company policies

What We’re Looking For

• Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Previous accounting experience will be considered an advantage
• Junior candidates with the right academic background are also encouraged to apply
• Good command of Greek and English
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Understanding of basic accounting principles
• Familiarity with accounting software will be considered an advantage
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Organised, responsible and willing to learn
• Good communication and teamwork skills
