What You Can Expect
This role is responsible for executing and coordinating critical intercompany accounting activities across the AMER region, ensuring the timely and accurate completion of month-end close processes, account reconciliations, and intercompany balance resolution. The position combines operational execution with analytical problem-solving, requiring ownership of complex reconciliations, collaboration with global stakeholders, and continuous identification of process improvement and automation opportunities. The individual will work closely with Country Controllers, Corporate Accounting, Treasury, Tax, and other GBS teams to ensure the integrity of intercompany financial information and compliance with company policies.
How You'll Create Impact
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Execute daily and month-end intercompany accounting activities for entities within scope, ensuring timely and accurate completion of assigned deliverables.
- Process intercompany non-inventory Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable transactions, including invoice posting, payment application, recharge-related entries, and the full-cycle posting of intercompany inventory invoices for LATAM entities within scope.
- Perform intercompany account reconciliations, reviewing outstanding and unmatched items, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring appropriate follow-up and resolution.
- Perform foreign exchange (FX) calculations and related accounting activities, ensuring appropriate validation and documentation.
- Prepare and distribute intercompany statements of account, review balances and related supporting information, and follow up on differences with relevant counterparties.
- Generate and provide invoice and transaction support to intercompany partners when required, including support for invoices not received by third parties.
- Perform master data activities, including the creation and modification of intercompany customers and vendors, ensuring requests are complete and accurate.
- Support month-end close activities, including balance reviews, journal entries, reconciliations, and follow-up of outstanding items.
- Maintain accurate and organized supporting documentation for assigned processes and provide documentation required for SOX controls and internal and external audits.
- Identify opportunities to improve existing processes, files and controls, and support standardization and automation initiatives, including the automation of manual intercompany Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable recharge invoice processing.
- Perform other operational or project-related activities assigned by management.

Education/Experience Requirements
- Degree in Accounting and Finance
- Minimum of 2 years of experience required in finance or accounting.
