Service Manager - Chinese Kitchen

China World Hotel, Beijing is ideally located in Beijing’s central business district (CBD) and is attached to one of the largest malls in Beijing, the China World Mall. The hotel is the gateway to your historical exploration of the capital city, such as the Great Wall, Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, hutongs, Houhai Bar Street, Jing Shan, Qianmen and Beihai Park. Guests have direct access from the hotel to China World Mall and Guomao subway lines 1 and 10 interchange station. China World Mall has indoor skating rinks, foreign-language bookstores, cinemas and over 90 restaurants covering the gamut of urban lifestyle interests – trendy cuisine, shopping, entertainment and other fun activities. It is also about 35-minute drive from Beijing Capital International Airport.

We are looking for Service Manager - Chinese Kitchen. As a Service Manager - Chinese Kitchen, we rely on you to:

• Maintain the food preparation process in alignment with Shangri-La's service and hygiene standards
• Ensure all Health and Safety standards and policies are followed correctly
• Manage the overall kitchen operation
• Responsible for the receiving and storage standards of raw materials.
• Daily check the consumption of food raw materials before and after meals, timely stock up and supplement ingredients, and save costs.

We are looking for someone who:

• Preferably has experience working in either a luxury restaurant or a 5* hotel background
• Proactive in work and innovative in dishes.
• Strong sense of responsibility and attention to details.
• Possess excellent teamwork skills.
• Committed to serving food of the highest quality.
