This position reports to: Continuous Improvement Specialist

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to assist local unit in developing the necessary capabilities to effectively control products and systems. Each day, you will ensure compliance with internal, customer, and industry requirements within a cost-effective and safe working environment. You will also showcase your expertise by participating in the development and implementation of standards and test methods to ensure only compliant products, software, and services are released to the customer.

The work model for the role is: onsite

This role is contributing to the Final Quality Control in Xiamen China. Main stakeholders are ELDS.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Complete the final inspection of switchgear before delivery as assigned by team leader;
  • Report and resolve issues during inspection;
  • Accompany clients to factory acceptance test (FAT) as assigned by team leader;
  • Submit proper documentation and generate inspection reports.
  • Complete all tasks with "Safety First" principle;
  • Ensure all products compliant with standards before delivery;
  • Identify issues when inspection and follow up until resolution;
  • Compile inspection information and generate reports;
  • Properly operate and maintain testing equipment;
  • Occasional business trips and external support tasks may be required;
  • Self-motivated with good time management skills.

Qualifications for the role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and Automation;
  • 2+ years in electrical industry;
  • Outstanding fresh graduate can be acceptable;
  • Familiar with power systems and switchgear;
  • Knowledge of electrical industry standards;
  • Good at office software;
  • High and low voltage electrical certification preferred.
  • Professional English for reading, basic English for listening/speaking/writing.
