Job Description

Your tasks

  • Take ownership of the high-voltage commutation cell, from conceptual design and functional specification to validation and series production readiness for New Energy Vehicles.
  • Evaluate and implement customer requirements. Derive system requirements to all domains. Ensure that the commutation cell design fulfills all requirements. You are responsible for timing, cost and specification.
  • Cross-Domain-Collaboration for seamlessly integrating all required components into the commutation cell. Responsibility for all interfaces between hardware, software, system and mechanics. You are the interface of the commutation cell to other domains.
  • Responsible for power module and semiconductor chip evaluation and selection.
  • Planning, coordinating and analyzing the validation and qualification of the commutation cell.
  • Actively monitor and evaluate new technologies and components in the fields of power modules and power semiconductors.

Qualifications

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, Power electronics, physics, or a related field with at least 5 years of professional experience.
  • In-depth knowledge with various power electronics topologies, experience with automotive power electronics products or high-power switching power supplies.
  • Deep know-how of power semiconductors.
  • Very good overview of hardware, system and mechanics.
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and a quick learner with a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Fluent English is mandatory.
