Chief of Staff – IT Infrastructure (80-100%)

As Chief of Staff to the Head of IT Infrastructure, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the management, governance and transformation of a critical technology function.

You will act as a trusted partner to the Head of IT Infrastructure, driving strategic execution, facilitating decision-making, coordinating key initiatives and ensuring alignment across IT Infrastructure, IT Security, IT Operations, Corporate Services and senior stakeholders.

This role combines strategic thinking, operational excellence and strong stakeholder management in a highly visible environment.

YOUR ROLE

  • Support the Head of IT Infrastructure in managing departmental priorities, governance, and strategic objectives.
  • Ensure effective governance of the department, including leadership meetings, steering committees and executive reporting.
  • Coordinate and drive strategic initiatives and transformation programs across the Infrastructure organization.
  • Provide leadership with clear visibility on priorities, risks, dependencies, budgets and delivery progress.
  • Facilitate collaboration between Infrastructure, Security, Operations and business stakeholders.
  • Identify and remove organizational and operational bottlenecks impacting execution.
  • Drive continuous improvement of portfolio management, reporting, governance and decision-making processes.
  • Support communication, change management and organizational development initiatives.
  • Prepare executive presentations, management updates and decision materials for senior leadership.

  • Strong organizational, planning and coordination skills.
  • Strategic mindset with a pragmatic and hands-on approach.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into concise executive-level messages.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to operate across organizational boundaries.
  • Good understanding of IT Infrastructure, IT governance, project portfolio management, risk management and technology transformation.
  • Experience in a complex and highly regulated environment is an advantage.
  • Resident in Switzerland or willingness to relocate.
