Overview:
The Change Management, Communications, and Training Manager demonstrates a high level of professionalism, prioritizing the successful implementation and adoption of BT changes within the organization, while continuously evaluating and improving the BT operating model to ensure it aligns with Bunge's overall business objectives. Responsibilities include leading and overseeing BT change management processes, conducting impact analyses, and developing communication and training plans to minimize disruption and maximize the benefits of BT initiatives. Additionally, this role actively analyzes Bunge’s existing BT operating model, identifies areas for optimization, and recommends improvements to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and agility in BT service delivery.
Essential Functions:
Main Accountabilities:
Change Leadership: Lead change management efforts for strategic Business Technology projects from initiation to completion. Develop and champion a clear change vision and strategy to drive successful adoption. Assess organizational readiness for change and develop mitigation plans for potential resistance.
Change Impact Assessment and Readiness: Identify, analyze, and document the people, process, technology, and organizational impacts associated with Business Technology initiatives. Partner with the business, Human Resources (HR), and Business Technology (BT) teams to assess the scope and severity of change, identify potential risks and barriers to adoption, and develop mitigation strategies. Establish impact-based change plans that support organizational readiness and successful business outcomes.
Training and Development: Collaborate with subject matter experts to design and deliver training programs tailored to end-users. Create user-friendly training materials, manuals, and resources to support skill development. Measure the effectiveness of training initiatives and make continuous improvements.
Communication and Engagement: Develop comprehensive communication plans that engage employees at all levels. Craft persuasive and informative messages to promote understanding and enthusiasm for change. Maintain feedback loops to gather insights and adjust communication strategies accordingly.
Stakeholder Management: Identify and analyze key stakeholders, their interests, and concerns. Develop and execute strategies for engaging stakeholders throughout the change process. Foster strong relationships with stakeholders to build trust and support for Business Technology initiatives.
User Research and Design Thinking: Leverage user research methodologies to gain insights into user needs and preferences. Apply design thinking principles to create user-centric solutions that enhance the change experience. Use data-driven approaches to refine strategies based on user feedback.
Personas, Storytelling, and Marketing Principles: Develop user personas to inform tailored change strategies. Utilize storytelling techniques to create compelling narratives that resonate with different user segments. Apply marketing principles to design engaging campaigns that drive user adoption.
Impact/Dimensions:
Directly impact the successful implementation of BT projects and initiatives across Bunge's operations. Influences user adoption rates, minimizing disruption to business operations and maximizing the return on BT investments. Collaboration with multiple BT teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors, contributing to an efficient and effective BT operating model that supports Bunge's growth and strategic objectives.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Change Readiness Score: Percentage of impacted stakeholders who demonstrate readiness for change based on readiness assessments, surveys, or stakeholder feedback. Training Effectiveness: Percentage of targeted users who successfully complete training and achieve established comprehension or proficiency targets. User Adoption Rate: Percentage of impacted users actively adopting and utilizing new technology, processes, or ways of working within established timeframes following deployment. Stakeholder Engagement and Communication Effectiveness: Achievement of communication and stakeholder engagement objectives as measured through participation rates, survey results, communication open rates, attendance, and feedback metrics.
Major Opportunities and Decisions:
Determine Change Management Strategy: Assess organizational impacts, stakeholder needs, and business objectives to develop and tailor change management strategies that maximize adoption and minimize disruption. Prioritize Change Interventions: Evaluate change readiness, adoption risks, and stakeholder feedback to determine the appropriate mix of communications, training, engagement, and reinforcement activities. Influence Stakeholder Alignment and Sponsorship: Partner with business, HR, and Business Technology leaders to drive alignment, secure sponsorship, and address resistance that may impact project success. Recommend Readiness and Adoption Actions: Analyze change metrics, impact assessments, and feedback data to identify risks, recommend corrective actions, and support go/no-go decisions for major project milestones. Strong Stakeholder Management Skills: Involves collaborating with individuals at various levels within the organization to drive consensus and ensure successful change adoption.
Management/Leadership:
Strong understanding of BT change management methodologies, best practices, and tools. Lead and guide the daily activities of a team of professionals, ensuring efficient execution of change management processes and operating model enhancements. Necessitates strong leadership skills to influence stakeholders, foster collaboration, and drive continuous improvement within the BT function.

Knowledge and Technical Competencies:
Strong understanding of Organizational Change Management frameworks. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in implementing BT change management processes and tools. Expertise in conducting impact analyses and developing mitigation strategies. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to conduct data analysis, identify trends, and develop recommendations for improvement. Proven leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and manage teams, delegate effectively, and foster a collaborative work environment.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Organizational Change Management, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Communications, Education, Business Administration or a related field. 6+ years of demonstrated experience in Change Management, with a proven track record of successfully implementing technology changes within complex organizations. Experience in analyzing, designing, and improving BT operating models is highly desirable. Prosci Change Management, Lean Change Management, or CCMP certification preferred. Proven experience in change management, preferably in large complex technology initiatives. Strong knowledge of change management methodologies and best practices. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Proficiency in using tools and software for change management, management, graphic design, video, communication. Familiarity with user research, design thinking, and marketing principles.
