We are looking for an experienced, commercially minded finance professional to join our Division Controlling team in Vienna. You will work at the centre of our global finance organisation, partner with regional finance teams and senior stakeholders, and help steer both recurring performance cycles and division-wide priorities.
Your responsibilities:
- Lead planning and forecasting cycles: Drive budgets, forecasts and long-term planning across the division, with clear governance, transparent assumptions and reliable delivery.
- Own divisional management reporting: Coordinate high-quality monthly reporting, KPI dashboards and executive-ready commentary, ensuring a clear view of performance across regions and affiliates.
- Act as a trusted business partner: Analyse P&L, balance sheet and cash-flow developments, understand the underlying business drivers and challenge local assumptions constructively.
- Translate insight into action: Distil complex financial developments into concise messages, decision options and recommendations for the CFO, the AGRANA Fruit Board and other senior stakeholders.
- Continuously improve how we work: Evolve reporting structures and front-end tools; reduce duplication and partner with technical experts on automation and system enhancements.
- Strengthen finance governance and knowledge sharing: Build clear scalable knowledge-management structures for the Division Controlling team and the global finance community. Facilitate best practice sharing across the division.
- Lead beyond the recurring cycle: Take ownership of ad hoc analyses and selected cross-functional or division-wide projects, while providing backup across critical controlling processes.
Your profile:
- Relevant experience: Several years of professional experience in financial controlling, FP&A, finance business partnering or a closely related finance/accounting role, ideally in an international environment.
- Strong financial judgement: Sound command of management reporting, planning and performance analysis, combined with the confidence to challenge assumptions and identify what matters.
- Senior stakeholder capability: A clear, concise communication style and experience working with senior decision-makers across functions, cultures and geographies.
- Systems and analytics expertise: Advanced Excel skills, practical experience with SAP and reporting/analysis tools; an interest in automation, digital reporting and efficient data flows is highly valued.
- Ownership mindset: Structured, reliable and proactive, with the ability to manage competing priorities, drive topics independently and follow through on commitments.
- Collaborative leadership: A constructive team player who shares knowledge, supports capability building and can guide junior colleagues without losing hands-on involvement.
Education and language:
A university degree in business administration, finance, controlling or a related field. Excellent English is essential; German and other languages are an advantage.
Our offer:
- Direct exposure to divisional decision-making and senior finance leadership.
- A broad international scope spanning performance management, planning, business partnering and transformation.
- The mandate to shape reporting and controlling processes, not simply operate them.
- A visible role in an experienced, collaborative team that values sound judgement, openness and pragmatic solutions.
- A strong platform for further development within AGRANA’s international finance organisation.
Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is € 43.324,40 gross per year. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries.
