Job Description

We are seeking a Registered and Enrolled Nurses to join us as a Scrub/Scout, supporting our friendly theatre team.

In this role you will have access to an outstanding working environment and opportunities to develop your skills within the perioperative space. A Scrub/Scout Nurse provides technical expertise and meticulous patient care within the operating theatre, serving as a sterile scrub nurse assisting the surgical team or as a circulating scout nurse managing room logistics and equipment. This critical role ensures the maintenance of strict aseptic techniques, patient safety, and seamless intraoperative coordination to optimize surgical outcomes.

About You

You will be a trained nurse with exceptional customer service, confident communication, and strong interpersonal skills. You will also demonstrate:

• Minimum 2 years' perioperative experience as a Scrub/Scout nurse
• Current Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse/Enrolled Nurse
• Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team
• Highly organised with a proven ability to manage emergency situations
• Demonstrates strong adaptability in dynamic situation
• Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
