Production supervisor, bulk x2

CSL Behring is seeking two experienced and motivated leaders to join our AlbuRx Bulk Operations team in Broadmeadows:

• 1 x Routine Manufacturing Opportunity (Shift: Rotating roster, 700-1641 & 1000-1941, weekend work is required)
• 1 x Project Opportunity (Monday - Friday, business hours)

Both roles are fixed term until 30 September 2027. The Routine Manufacturing role will be reporting to the Senior Manager, Bulk Manufacturing, and the Project role will be reporting to the Process Specialist & Manufacturing Lead.

The AlbuRx Bulk Supervisor is responsible for leading daily manufacturing operations, ensuring activities are delivered safely, efficiently and in compliance with GMP requirements. The role plays a critical part in delivering manufacturing schedules, developing team capability, driving continuous improvement and supporting operational excellence across the AlbuRx Bulk Manufacturing area.

The fixed-term project position will have an additional focus on integrating Operational Readiness activities and supporting engineering, validation and technology transfer activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations to deliver production schedules safely, efficiently and in compliance with GMP requirements.
• Coordinate team resources and workflows to ensure manufacturing targets and operational KPIs are achieved.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement through standard work practices, problem-solving and process optimisation.
• Coach, develop and lead a high-performing team, fostering accountability, engagement and capability growth.
• Support quality systems including investigations, deviations, CAPAs and training compliance.
• Build strong partnerships with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Validation and Supply Chain stakeholders to deliver business outcomes.

Skills & Experience

• Tertiary qualification in Science, Engineering or a related discipline
• Experience within pharmaceutical, biotechnology or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.
• Proven experience leading manufacturing or production teams and delivering operational results.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP requirements, quality systems, deviations and change control processes.
• Demonstrated stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
• Continuous improvement mindset with a strong focus on safety, quality and operational excellence.
