Job Description

We are excited to welcome a People & Culture Officer to our high-performing People & Culture team. Reporting to the People & Culture Business Partner, you'll play a key role in partnering with stakeholders across our Queensland business, providing essential support to the broader People & Culture function and helping drive a seamless employee experience by keeping operations running smoothly and efficiently.

You will be accountable for:

  • Support employee onboarding, offboarding, and probation processes.
  • Coordinate employee recognition programs, events, and flexible work arrangements.
  • Provide HR administration, reporting, and systems support.
  • Assist leaders and employees with HR-related enquiries and processes.
  • Maintain people data, communications, and organisational records.

This fulltime position will start on a 6 month fixed-term contract, with a view to grow into a longer-term role. You will be based on the Fraser Coast in QLD at our Maryborough and Torbanlea sites.

About You:

  • Possess or be enrolled in a Tertiary qualification on Human Resources (desirable)
  • 1 year experience in Human Resources is advantageous
  • Experience maintaining HR Information Systems and employee records with a high degree of confidentiality and accuracy
  • Experience preparing reports and analysing data
  • Ability to evaluate information quickly, identifying key issues and formulating conclusions.
