As our Queensland Energy & Resources business continues to grow, we are seeking an exceptional leader to join our Infrastructure Solutions Australia business as Market Sector Director, Energy & Resources.

This is a pivotal leadership role with responsibility for driving the strategic growth, commercial performance and market presence of KBR's Energy & Resources portfolio across Queensland. Reporting to the Senior Director, Energy & Resources, you will lead business development, key client engagement, project portfolio performance and talent growth while helping shape KBR's long-term position in a rapidly evolving market.

The Opportunity

As Market Sector Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing sector strategies that drive sustainable revenue growth, strengthen client relationships and expand KBR's footprint across the energy and resources sector in Queensland.

Operating as a senior market-facing leader, you will engage with executive stakeholders across mining, critical minerals, resources, energy transition, renewables and industrial sectors, positioning KBR as a trusted partner for complex projects and programmes.

You will oversee a portfolio of existing projects while identifying and securing new opportunities, ensuring strong commercial outcomes and delivery excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement growth strategies across the Queensland Energy & Resources sector.
• Build and strengthen executive-level relationships with clients, industry stakeholders and strategic partners.
• Identify, pursue and secure new business opportunities, major pursuits and strategic partnerships.
• Lead or support major bids and work-winning activities for significant projects and programmes.
• Drive profitable portfolio performance, including revenue growth, project delivery outcomes and risk management.
• Provide leadership and direction to project leaders and sector teams.
• Attract, develop and retain high-performing talent aligned to KBR's growth strategy.
• Represent KBR at industry forums, conferences and executive-level networking events.
• Champion KBR's values, safety culture and commitment to operational excellence.

You are a respected industry leader with a strong reputation across the Queensland energy and resources market. You combine commercial acumen, strategic thinking and client credibility with a proven ability to grow businesses and lead high-performing teams.

You will bring:

• Significant experience within the energy, resources, mining, critical minerals or industrial sectors.
• Demonstrated success winning and delivering major projects and programmes.
• Strong commercial, contractual and financial management capability.
• Established executive-level relationships across the Queensland market.
• Experience developing and executing business growth strategies.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and leadership skills.
• A track record of building high-performing and engaged teams.
