Members of the Finance organization at select locations will generally be expected to follow a hybrid work model, which includes two days of in-office attendance each week, with limited exceptions.
Looking for a Finance Manager to join our dynamic Splunk Finance team that partners closely with the Splunk Platforms Business. We support financial planning, business insights, and strategic decision-making that help drive Splunk’s broader success within Cisco. The team is collaborative, approachable, and easy to work with, creating an environment where cross-functional partnership and learning are highly valued. This opportunity offers a unique insider view into the integration of Cisco’s largest acquisition while contributing to high-impact finance initiatives at the center of Splunk’s growth.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Finance Manager to lead Gross Margin planning and analysis, with a strong focus on cloud infrastructure costs and operational efficiency. This role will partner closely with Engineering, Product, Cloud Operations, Procurement, and senior Finance leaders to improve cost visibility, strengthen financial accountability, and identify opportunities to optimize gross margin.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, comfortable working with complex datasets, and able to translate detailed financial analysis into clear and concise business insights. This individual should be proactive, intellectually curious, and willing to go deep into cost drivers while maintaining a strategic view of the business.

The starting salary range posted for this position is $122,500.00 to $160,600.00 and reflects the projected salary range for new hires in this position in U.S. and/or Canada locations, not including incentive compensation*, equity, or benefits.
Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location, market conditions, job-related skillset, experience, qualifications, education, certifications, and/or training. The full salary range for certain locations is listed below. Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components, subject to the applicable Cisco plan. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:
For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay 0% up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.

$147,500.00 - $222,500.00
$131,100.00 - $198,900.00
* For quota-based sales roles on Cisco’s sales plan, the ranges provided in this posting include base pay and sales target incentive compensation combined.
