The Manager, Business Operations, in partnership with the Director Business Operations is responsible for the execution of business operations, leadership engagement, communications, governance, and strategic initiatives across a complex global manufacturing network. This role will help translating priorities, including the coordination of leadership meetings, global GBM communications, managing digital collaboration platforms, driving operational processes, and ensuring effective execution of key initiatives.
The role partners closely with the GBM Leadership Team, site teams, communications partners, People Experience and other cross-functional stakeholders and is accountable for the consistency and reliability of leadership operating rhythms, the quality and timeliness of leadership communications, and measurable improvement in colleague engagement and process efficiency across the GBM network. It also includes owning digital communications tools and channels that support the needs of the organization and its leaders, as well as driving key recognition, engagement, governance, and initiatives globally.
Applicant must have a bachelor's degree with at least 4 years of experience; OR a master's degree with at least 2 years of experience; OR a PhD with 0+ years of experience; OR as associate's degree with 8 years of experience; OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 10 years of relevant experience.
Strategic thinking, writing, editing, storytelling skills, and editorial judgement with a proven ability to convey complex ideas across formats and channels. Experience developing executive presentations, communications, dashboards, reports, and engagement materials. Experience leading successful internal communications or colleague engagement initiatives and programs. High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and sound judgment under pressure. Demonstrated track record working with and influencing both individuals and multidisciplinary teams in a complex, fluid and matrix environment. Excellent networking and relationship building skills and the ability to interact with confidence with various levels and functions. Able to work to tight deadlines, manage multiple projects at once and maintain professionalism under pressure. Proactive self-starter, and able to work independently. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint. This position requires a highly organized, proactive individual who can effectively balance strategic and tactical responsibilities while operating in a fast-paced, global environment. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and sound judgment. Ability to work independently and collaboratively across global, cross-functional teams. Proven ability to influence without authority and build strong partnerships across organizational boundaries. Demonstrated project management and continuous improvement experience. Experience coordinating large-scale meetings, town halls, leadership forums, site visits, or colleague engagement initiatives. Colleague may be based at a Pfizer site location with flexibility to support a global organization across multiple time zones. Occasional travel may be required to support business meetings and leadership. Will consider colleagues in ET or CT zone only.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $99,200.00 to $165,400.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 12.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
