Murata Power Solutions is powering what's next in high-performance, sustainable power conversion. We focus on two of the most transformative technology markets: Server, Storage, and Networking (SSN) and advanced automation, including robotics and energy storage. Ranked among the world’s top five suppliers of advanced power electronics, we deliver one of the industry’s widest selections of standard power products and lead in the design of custom, application-specific solutions. Known for the quality of our technology and the strength of our team, Murata Power Solutions offers the opportunity to work with talented engineers and a leadership group committed to growth, innovation, and partnership with many of the world’s leading OEMs.
Murata Power Solutions is seeking a Graphic Designer to join the Marketing Communications team. This hands-on creative role spans social and digital content, marketing literature, photography, video, and emerging creative tools. Graphic design is the foundation of the position. The ideal candidate has strong design sensibility, attention to detail and quality, and the energy and curiosity to learn and grow. Working with creative and art direction, this person will contribute to a broad range of marketing communications while taking ownership of assigned work and collaborating with teams across the organization.
Approximately 2–3 years of relevant graphic design experience. Proficiency with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, with experience creating both social/digital content and marketing literature. Strong design fundamentals, including typography, layout, hierarchy, composition, and brand application. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, meet deadlines, and move assigned work through completion. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to discuss creative work and collaborate effectively across teams. Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work. Curiosity and willingness to learn new products, technologies, tools, and creative techniques.
Photography, basic video editing, and motion graphics experience are preferred, but demonstrated aptitude and interest in developing these skills are also valued. Experience scheduling or publishing social content is a plus. Previous power electronics experience is not required; an interest in technology and willingness to learn about the products and markets being communicated are important.
This position is an on-site role, with one flex day per week of remote work.
Hourly range for this role is $33.00/hr to $36.50/hr. The range listed is based on market data and internal benchmarks. Actual compensation may vary depending on a candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications.
