Just imagine a modern catalog experience that helps millions of builders, collectors, and sellers discover and manage the products they care about. Then make it real.
As our Software Engineer - BrickLink Catalog, you'll help modernise the LEGO® BrickLink Catalog platform and deliver new capabilities that support its integration into the broader digital ecosystem. You'll focus on frontend engineering using React and Next.js, working within a distributed agile team to re-architect key platform capabilities, develop new features, and build reusable components. This is an opportunity to shape a scalable catalog experience used by a highly engaged global community while influencing the future technical direction of the platform.
If you've worked in a role where you delivered large-scale React or Next.js applications, built reusable component systems, and solved complex engineering challenges, you'll feel at home here. What matters most is your ability to create reliable frontend solutions while contributing to a shared engineering culture.
You'll join Creator & AFOL Technology within Digital Technology at the LEGO Group. The team supports BrickLink's growth, scalability, and integration while creating technology for a passionate community of builders, collectors, and sellers. We work in a distributed environment with a hybrid rhythm, staying connected through planning, refinement, estimation, and code review activities. Strong problem solving, clear communication, collaboration, customer-focused thinking, and an awareness of user experience all help the team succeed.
Success means helping replatform critical catalog capabilities while establishing scalable frontend patterns that can support future growth. You'll work closely with the Lead Engineer, frontend engineers, product managers, designers, and product team members as the platform continues its modernisation journey. Over time, you'll contribute to increased component reuse, stronger frontend standards, new catalog capabilities, and deeper integration across the LEGO Group digital ecosystem.
