As a Electrical Designer in the BESS group, you will be responsible for working with multi-disciplinary teams to primarily perform utility-scale solar BESS engineering design in a manner that provides the client with a quality deliverable that is on time and within budget. The salary range above is based upon the Denver, Colorado labor market.
Education: Degree in electrical engineering technology or related experience preferred.
Experience: 3+ years of engineering design or other relevant experience. Physical design experience required. Proficiency with AutoCAD required. Strong knowledge of electrical power systems required. Possesses effective written and oral communications skills. Assists with client contacts and communication pertaining to specific assignments and meetings. Must possess strong technical verbal and technical writing skills and be able to read technical literature and engineering plans. Must demonstrate two-way communication to effectively work with internal staff and external clients. A strong written and verbal command of the English language. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Knowledge of renewable energy, and battery storage systems preferred.
Work Environment: Work is performed in an office setting and some field work may be required.
Travel: Minimal: 0 – 10%
Physical Activities: Must be able to lift 25lbs.
