What's in it for you:
As a Designer V supporting the TCDC/VCDC NPD Pod, you will serve as a senior design resource for new product development and margin expansion initiatives for Airside Data Center Fan Coil Wall (TCDC) and Computer Room Air Handler (VCDC) products. This role provides the opportunity to lead complex design and documentation activities that support concept development, product enhancement, prototype execution, validation readiness, and product release across the data center product portfolio.
This position offers the opportunity to work closely with engineers and cross-functional teams to develop and refine models, drawings, bills of material, and related documentation that support development programs from early concept through validation and implementation. You will play a key role in evaluating design approaches, supporting new and unique design solutions, incorporating manufacturing and field feedback into product improvements, and helping drive product performance, manufacturability, and year-over-year margin improvement.

The role requires relevant technical training with 10 years of experience. Associate degree in mechanical, electrical, electronic design or related field. Experience in design, drafting, or product documentation support required. Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, Inventor, ProEngineer, or similar CAD tools required. Ability to travel up to 10% of the time is required. Advanced working knowledge of design and drafting standards, methods, and documentation practices. Ability to create and maintain complex models, drawings, and bills of material with a high degree of accuracy. Ability to function as a senior design resource within a technical engineering team environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple varied tasks and priorities simultaneously. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Customer-focused, innovative, and quality-minded approach to assigned duties. Ability to adjust to changing demands, priorities, and objectives. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools is preferred.

$69,600.00 - $99,015.00
