Job Title: Construction Program Manager (Security)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a focus on security projects and access control systems. This role is central to leading our security program, coordinating security schedules, and upgrading security systems to access controls. The position initially requires presence in St. Paul, where the first year of projects will be based, with plans to transition to full-time employment. The role involves significant responsibility in planning, directing, and coordinating various non-IT projects.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate projects by creating detailed plans to achieve goals and direct the integration of technical activities.
  • Present and explain proposals, reports, and findings to clients.
  • Recruit, assign, direct, and evaluate employees' work while overseeing staff competence development and maintenance.
  • Analyze technological resource needs and market demand to plan and assess project feasibility.
  • Confer with management, production, and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and procedures.
  • Review, recommend, or approve contracts and cost estimates.
  • Direct, review, and approve product designs and changes.
  • Consult or negotiate with clients to prepare project specifications.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
  • PMI or PMP certification preferred.
  • 8-10 years of experience as a Project Manager or Program Manager.

Work Environment

The role requires working in St. Paul for the first year, with 3-4 days onsite and 1-2 days working from home. The position may involve a significant amount of travel. This is an opportunity to work closely with security experts to coordinate security schedules and upgrade systems. The position offers a competitive base salary with a bonus structure.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of St Paul, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $75.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
