Commercial Lines Assistant Account Manager (Marketing)

Job Summary

Seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Commercial Lines Assistant Account Manager to join a dynamic team. This role is pivotal in supporting marketing efforts and ensuring seamless operations within the Commercial Lines department. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of professionalism. This is a hybrid position, requiring 2-3 days in the office, with flexibility for exceptional candidates within driving distance.

Compensation Package

• Salary: Up to $65,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
• Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package.
• Work Arrangement: Hybrid (2-3 days in-office). Fully remote candidates within driving distance may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Proactively monitor the marketing inbox daily to manage incoming renewal marketing requests and ensure timely distribution to team members.
• Maintain and track all marketing submissions through the InsuredMine platform, ensuring consistent follow-up and visibility.
• Review marketing submissions for completeness and collaborate with Sales Producers to gather necessary details.
• Prepare and organize insurance applications for submission, verifying accuracy and completeness.
• Assist in drafting polished, client-focused proposals aligned with Sales Producer strategies and client objectives.
• Coordinate post-bind communications by sending onboarding letters to clients and introducing the assigned Account Manager.
• Review bound policies to confirm coverage accuracy and alignment with quoted proposals.
• Maintain and update client and policy information in the agency management system to ensure data integrity.
• Once trained, assist with rating accounts and providing preliminary indications as part of the submission process.
• Support the marketing team with various tasks and special projects aimed at enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Experience: Prior experience in a Commercial Lines Assistant Account Manager role or similar position within an independent agency is required.
• Education: Relevant certifications or licenses are preferred but not mandatory.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Epic software and familiarity with InsuredMine or similar platforms is highly desirable.
• Soft Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent grammar and professionalism. Ability to work independently while being a collaborative team player. Self-sufficient and proactive, with the ability to manage tasks without constant supervision. Non-confrontational and adaptable to a team-oriented culture.
• Location: Candidates must be within driving distance of the office. Fully remote candidates will be considered if they can attend in-office meetings quarterly.
