Commercial Lines Assistant Account Manager

Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Assistant Account Manager to join a growing team. This role is integral to supporting Commercial Lines department, ensuring seamless service delivery to clients. Compensation Package
Salary Range: $50,000 - $70,000 (commensurate with experience)
Comprehensive benefits package
Hybrid work model: 2-3 days in-office, with flexibility for remote work

Responsibilities

• Process policy changes, endorsements, and certificates of insurance with accuracy and efficiency
• Handle evidences of insurance and other client documentation needs
• Provide administrative support to Account Managers and the Commercial Lines team
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate service delivery
• Maintain and update client records in the Epic software system
• Assist with quoting new and renewal business as needed
• Communicate professionally with clients, carriers, and internal stakeholders

Qualifications/Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar role within an independent insurance agency, with a focus on Commercial Lines
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Epic software or similar agency management systems preferred
Soft Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to grammar and professionalism; Self-sufficient and proactive, with the ability to work independently while being a team player; Non-confrontational and approachable demeanor; Detail-oriented and highly organized
Education: Relevant certifications or licenses in insurance are a plus
Work Style: Hybrid work model; candidates must be within driving distance of the office and available for occasional in-office meetings
