Business analyst (digital banking modernization) - 3699500

Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Business Analyst focused in the Digital Banking space position! This is a 12-month contract with good potential to extend and/or convert and will be hybrid in Buffalo, New York. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services. No C2C or subcontracting arrangements will be considered.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Support the decommissioning of legacy services while modernizing digital banking customer experiences across web and mobile platforms
• Lead business requirements gathering from project inception through continuous development cycles
• Document detailed process flows that enable development and engineering teams to build effectively
• Coordinate stakeholders and facilitate cross-functional collaboration to drive program objectives forward with the Product Owner
• Manage testing, validation, and deployment coordination to ensure features meet customer expectations and quality standards
• Partner with QA and backend teams to maintain appropriate safeguards and validation checkpoints throughout the release process
• Triage defects with engineers and the Product Owner to prioritize remediation and maintain product quality
• Support deployment readiness by completing required paperwork and ensuring all release criteria are met
• Serve as the bridge between business requirements and technical implementation for engineering teams

What You'll Need to Have:

• Senior-level experience as a Functional Business Analyst with full project lifecycle ownership from requirements through customer release
• Proven ability to gather and document business requirements, develop process flows, and coordinate complex testing and validation efforts
• Banking industry experience with strong preference for Digital Banking domain expertise to ensure immediate productivity
• Digital technology background with understanding of APIs, batch processing, and database concepts to effectively support engineering teams
• Proficiency with JIRA, Miro, and Confluence for project management and documentation
• Strong Microsoft Suite capabilities for business documentation and stakeholder communication
• Familiarity with Figma for design collaboration (training available but prior exposure preferred)
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with engineering groups and technical teams
• Professional certifications in Business Analysis or related disciplines are a strong plus

Pay Range: $35-45+/hr
