Position Overview
BGBx Consulting | Hayden is excited to recruit our next cohort of Associates to start on August 3, 2027. Please note the application deadline is midnight on Wednesday, September 30th, 2026. Note: In the job application we require you to indicate whether you are interested in starting in our Boston office (HQ), Brooklyn office, or are open to starting in either location.
Key Responsibilities
Research & Analytics
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses using SQL, Excel, and secondary research to support client engagements.
- Support primary market research, including discussion guide development, data collection, and synthesis of findings.
- Leverage BGBx Consulting | Hayden tools, methodologies, and templates to produce accurate, high-quality analyses.
Interpretation & Strategy
- Synthesize research and analytical outputs into clear insights aligned with project hypotheses and client objectives.
- Identify trends, implications, and business opportunities through structured analysis.
- Build knowledge of the life sciences, biopharma, and market access landscape to strengthen analyses and recommendations.
Content Development
- Develop clear, polished, and quality-checked client presentations and other external deliverables.
- Create supporting internal materials, including workbooks, slide outlines, trackers, and other project documentation.
- Incorporate feedback to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of work products.
Driving Results
- Deliver assigned workstreams on time while balancing priorities across multiple projects.
- Perform thorough quality control of analyses and deliverables prior to submission.
- Communicate progress proactively and escalate risks or challenges as appropriate.
Communication & Delivery
- Present findings and analytical conclusions clearly in internal meetings.
- Communicate effectively with project teams to ensure alignment on objectives and deliverables.
- Contribute actively to team discussions by asking thoughtful questions and sharing insights.
Collaboration & Influence
- Build positive working relationships across project teams.
- Take ownership of professional development by seeking, applying, and acting on feedback.

Preferred Qualifications
- Candidates/employees must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Strong academic record (GPA of 3.5+). We strongly encourage applicants who have demonstrated improvement over time to apply as well.
- A bachelor’s degree or more from a 4-year institution.
- A data-driven problem solver and strong critical thinker.
- Interest in learning more about Biopharma, US healthcare systems, and the life sciences industry.
- An innate curiosity to learn and grow and a passion for solving quantitative and qualitative problems creatively.
- Team-oriented individual who is comfortable working independently and collaboratively and keen to communicate with teammates.
- Eager to learn, practice, and lead data analyses using the following tools: SQL, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Driven and adventurous, ready to take risks and use previous experiences and unique perspectives to grow BGBx Consulting | Hayden.
- Ability to travel as needed (0-10% on average).
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule (Tues/Wed/Thurs in office | Mon/Fri remote).
Salary Range
Your expected annual compensation for this level for base and bonus is between $88,000 to $92,000. In addition to your base salary and annual bonus, we offer employer 401k match, and a clearly defined career path based on individual performance.
