As the Associate Account Manager, you will serve as a support to the broader Sales Team, assisting in the deployment of corporate-wide resources to provide comprehensive service and solutions to the account portfolio. In partnership with the Account Manager, you will identify and escalate internal and external opportunities to improve day to day customer service and overall experience.

Job Description

Full-Time, Hybrid Role

Location: Rancho Cordova, CA

Territory: Central California, including the Central Valley and Central Coast

You will contribute by:

• Assisting Account Managers with maintaining relationships for assigned accounts and establishing and building strong client relationships.
• Identifying target opportunities within the framework of the organization-wide strategy and propose solutions to leadership.
• Adhering to training content and transferring knowledge from newly developed and enhanced processes to fellow team members.
• Participating in special projects and programs as needed, including information technology projects involving scope, specifications, and integration testing for customers and internal enhancements.
• Working closely with the Company's Customer Service Representatives to troubleshoot and resolve issues within assigned accounts.
• Frequently travel to customer and retail store locations throughout the assigned territory.

We’re searching for candidates with:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to travel approximately 60% of the time, including regular travel to customer and retail store locations and occasional overnight stays as needed.
• 2-5 years of retail grocery or wholesale grocery operations experience preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a field-based environment with frequent customer and store visits.
