As a Senior IT Vendor Manager, you will play a key role in strengthening and evolving Essity's approach to technology vendor management. This is an opportunity to take ownership of a significant portfolio of strategic technology partners and help ensure our vendor relationships deliver maximum business value.
Working across a global environment, you will combine commercial acumen, analytical thinking, financial planning, contract oversight, stakeholder management, and vendor relationship expertise to support informed decision-making and long-term business success.
A key part of the role will be supporting budget planning, forecasting, quarterly and annual budget follow-up, and ensuring vendor investments align with business priorities and expected outcomes.
This role is ideal for an experienced professional who enjoys working independently, challenging constructively, and influencing both internal stakeholders and external partners through data-driven insights and sound commercial judgment.

University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
Approximately 10+ years of experience in vendor management, supplier relationship management, IT procurement, technology sourcing, commercial management, or similar disciplines within a large, complex international organization.
Strong analytical and financial management capabilities, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, spend analysis, commercial reporting, and enterprise tools such as Power BI, SAP, ERP systems, or vendor management platforms.
A commercially minded and detail-oriented professional who enjoys working with data and numbers, and combines excellent communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, influencing, and constructive challenge skills. You are comfortable working independently, making informed decisions, and building credibility with both senior stakeholders and strategic vendors.

This position can be based in Lisbon, Gothenburg, or Munich.
You will join a global team collaborating with colleagues, business leaders, and technology partners across multiple regions. The role offers exposure to some of the world’s largest technology suppliers and provides the opportunity to influence strategic decisions that support Essity’s long-term success.
Occasional travel may be required to support vendor reviews, relationship-building activities, and strategic business discussions.
