Figured is looking for a Delivery Lead

Figured builds financial software, and increasingly AI-driven insight, for farmers and the accountants who work with them. We're the established market leader in New Zealand, and growing our footprint across Australia and the US.

We're looking for a Delivery Lead to sit at the centre of how our product roadmap actually gets built and shipped. You'll work across engineering, product, data, and go-to-market teams, turning a roadmap into a plan, keeping four engineering pods moving, and making sure the handoff from "built" to "in market" doesn't drop anything on the floor.

This isn't a project management box-ticking role. It is about bringing focus, clarity and energy into the product delivery teams, and building a predictable and sustainable delivery engine that the business trusts.

What you'll actually be doing

• Turn the agreed roadmap into a real delivery plan - sequencing dependencies and mapping capacity - and prioritise scope
• Manage the weekly triage flow across our four engineering pods, balancing support and unplanned work against roadmap commitments.
• Keeping the business in the loop on what's coming, so nobody's caught off guard by a release.
• Working with the engineering team leads, ensuring that standards around quality and velocity are working hand in hand.
• Give the business a clear, honest view of delivery progress, risk, and what's actually landing.

What you'll bring

• Experience in SaaS product delivery, ideally in a high growth global business
• A real understanding of what a high-functioning development environment looks like.
• Comfortable moving between technical and commercial conversations without losing precision in either.
• Project management chops, you can organise a team and hold a deadline without micromanaging.
• Commercial judgment, you can weigh a delivery decision against what it actually means for revenue and growth, not just velocity.
• A natural ability to get people aligned without needing authority to do it.

This is a roamer role. You'll be hands-on across engineering, product, and go-to-market, not sitting in one lane. If that sounds like more responsibility than structure, that's accurate, and it's also where the impact is.

Some experience delivering AI or ML-backed features, or at least a clear understanding of what makes them harder to ship than a standard feature (data dependencies, evaluation, the fact that "done" looks different).
