Senior Discipline Engineer (Automotive Lighting Systems)
A major global Tier-1 automotive supplier driving the development and manufacturing of cutting-edge automotive exterior lighting solutions. The company leverages an international engineering network, integrating lighting technologies directly with ADAS to enhance driver safety and vehicle intelligence.
Lead top-stream system engineering for advanced lighting solutions (e.g., Adaptive Driving Beam, complex animation lamps). You will define requirements directly with Japanese OEMs, architect A-SPICE-compliant system specifications alongside international engineering hubs (including global design centers), manage cross-departmental interfaces across hardware, software, and mechanical teams, and oversee the full V-model development lifecycle.
Practical development experience in automotive components, ECUs, or systems engineering. Knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, etc.) and hands-on experience using Vector tools. Experience in embedded product system architecture or hardware/software development. Native or high-level business Japanese fluency to lead negotiations with Japanese car manufacturers. Basic conversational English with a proactive willingness to learn and collaborate with global teams.
System design experience aligned with A-SPICE or ISO 26262 standards. Basic knowledge of C language or Model-Based Development using MATLAB/Simulink. Business-level English proficiency with a track record of working alongside overseas development hubs or global OEMs. Background in ECU design or direct engineering experience within an OEM environment.
