Application engineer

To complement our team, we are looking for a customer- and team-oriented individual for our Industrial X-Ray Systems division at the Yokohama site as a Application Engineer.

As part of the Industrial X-Ray Systems (IXS) division, our Comet Yxlon brand delivers advanced industrial X-ray and CT solutions for reliable non-destructive testing, analysis and quality assurance in semiconductor, electronics, automotive and other high-tech industries.

What you will do:

• Reports in dotted line to Director Global Application & Training
• Application Sales support
• Application Dragonfly-Sales Support
• Expert Training to Customers

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in science, engineering, or a related field.
• Fluent Japanese communication skills, both verbal and written
• Business-level English proficiency for communication within the global organization
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience in the semiconductor, automotive, R&D/laboratory, or metrology industry
• Self-motivated with strong self-management skills
