About the role

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Lead Product Owner to drive the vision, strategy, and execution of our Ordering Domain within the Telecom industry. This is a senior leadership role that requires a deep understanding of telecom ordering systems, agile methodologies, and stakeholder management. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business objectives and technology delivery, ensuring seamless order management capabilities across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Define and own the product vision and roadmap for the Ordering domain, aligned with business goals and customer experience objectives.
• Lead the prioritization of features and capabilities across order capture, order management, order orchestration, and order fulfillment processes.
• Drive alignment with enterprise architecture and digital transformation initiatives.

Product Ownership & Delivery

• Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring stories are well-defined, prioritized, and ready for sprint execution.
• Collaborate with Scrum Masters and Agile delivery teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of product increments.
• Define and validate acceptance criteria, user stories, and functional specifications.
• Conduct sprint reviews, retrospectives, and stakeholder demos.

Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders, technology teams, and external vendors.
• Engage with senior leadership, sales, operations, and IT teams to gather requirements and communicate product progress.
• Manage relationships with third-party vendors and system integrators involved in ordering platform delivery.

Domain Expertise

• Provide deep expertise in telecom ordering processes.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards such as TM Forum Open APIs and MEF standards.

Team Leadership & Mentoring

• Lead and mentor a team of Product Owners and Business Analysts.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and customer-centricity.
• Conduct performance reviews and support career development of team members.

Key Requirements:

Experience

Technical Skills

Understanding of microservices architecture, APIs, and Azure cloud-based platforms. Proficiency in tools such as JIRA and Confluence.

Soft Skills

Exceptional communication and presentation skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proven ability to influence and lead without direct authority. Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (required). MCA or equivalent postgraduate qualification (preferred). Certifications (preferred): Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (SAFe POPM).
