What you will do

Position Summary

The Manager, Portfolio Management for Kenvue’s global brand Johnson’s, is responsible for leading brand portfolio & governance in line with Kenvue’s operating model. The role partners with global Johnson’s marketing team to develop project innovation pipelines and co-leads the projects execution through regional project managers responsible for Johnson’s.

This role works in close partnership with global Marketing teams, R&D and Supply Chain teams to deliver brand growth objectives and improve E2E product supply performance through an integrated approach across the functions. The role enables the development of product life cycle strategies that are customer centric, compliant to regulatory/safety requirements and optimize supply chain performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary responsibilities of the role include:

  • Deliver assigned projects as part of portfolio management to achieve the business growth strategy objectives and delivers inter-regional and intra-regional franchise growth targets identified in the operating model
  • Has full end-to-end accountability for the flawless transfer of new products and processes from R&D or other transferring partners into the Supply Chain
  • Serve as a functionally agnostic liaison to the business and the cross-functional team to co-create an aligned inter-regional and intra-regional to deliver all project’s KPIs ie budget, timeline, demand assumptions, and other stage-gate checklist
  • Has responsibility for end-to-end cost and inventory optimization for assigned products, across the product life cycle
  • Responsible for project data integrity in the portfolio management system in collaboration with the project management teams and franchise/region function leads; ensure data standards are achieved with continuous improvement.
  • Facilitates global Johnson’s project portfolio decision making that best supports brand need state & balances existing portfolio

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree required. MBA or MS is preferred. A degree in engineering, supply chain, or relevant field is a plus.

A minimum of 8+ -12 years of diverse experience across different areas of the Supply Chain is required, including direct experience with Project and Portfolio Mgmt.

PMP certification and /or other industry and project management certification a plus.

Experience in a Consumer, packaged goods or regulated industry is preferred. Knowledge of the consumer healthcare industry.

Proven success with portfolio management at franchise / business unit level preferred, with demonstrated success in managing large, global, complex, interrelated programs / projects.

Strong business and financial acumen with demonstrated analytical skills including understanding of financial principles and how to leverage this knowledge to make sound business decisions and/or recommendations to achieve business goals in a complex environment with multiple layers of stakeholders.

Demonstrated experience in managing ambiguity and white space required. Strong technical knowledge with demonstrated ability to think strategically and deliver results is necessary.

Demonstrated understanding/ability to consolidate, optimize and prioritize a portfolio of programs under constraints in a dynamic manner, specifically allocating and re-allocating resources (budgets, FTEs) across programs is required.

Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to act as a change agent and adapt to changing business and organizational dynamics. Strong partner and influencer to support broader E2E goals.
