Summary

The Analyst, IT Solutions will collect, analyze, develop, document and communicate business requirements, and work with various IT teams to develop and deliver solutions. Provide support and user training on selected systems (for example SFC, ERP and local applications) and participate in IT projects.

Detailed Description

Key Responsibilities

• Execute automated test suites across multi-tiered application environments and maintain test script integrity.
• Analyze test runs, perform root cause analysis (RCA) on failures, and log detailed defect reports for engineering teams.
• Manage, configure, and maintain Virtual Machines (VMs) and local/remote test environments to support continuous automation testing.

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies

Required & Preferred Qualifications

Technical Skills - Ability to run, modify, and troubleshoot/debug automated test scripts independently.

System & Environment - Familiarity with Virtual Machine (VM) environments and system landscapes required for test execution.

Preferred Tooling - Experience with Worksoft Certify is highly desirable (plus point).

Core Competencies

• Test Automation Execution: Proven capability to run daily test suites, monitor runs, and report health metrics.
• Debugging & Troubleshooting: Skilled in analyzing log files, stack traces, and system responses to pinpoint script errors versus application bugs.
• Infrastructure & VM Management: Hands-on experience working within virtualized environments (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, Cloud VMs) and maintaining landscape pre-requisites.

Physical Demands

Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment. Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data. Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.

Typical Experience

Overall experience should be 3+ years of work experience.

Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in software test automation.

Typical Education

Bachelors Degree or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience. Educational Requirements may vary by Geography.
