What you'll be doing:

  • Processing new NHS smartcard requests using Care Identity Management and ensuring compliance with identity and right to work standards.
  • Creating, updating and replacing smartcards, including urgent requests for lost, damaged or amended cards.
  • Managing leaver activity, removing access where required and securely disposing of returned smartcards.
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring smartcard data complies with national registration authority standards.
  • Resolving smartcard and access-related queries by working directly with clients and their employees.
  • Supporting audits, reporting activities, service improvements, training and investigations relating to information security.

What you'll bring:

  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records and data.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Experience providing professional customer or client support.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and build positive working relationships.
  • A flexible and proactive approach to learning new processes and supporting service improvements.

If you're interested in this role but not sure if your skills and experience are exactly what we're looking for, please do apply, we'd love to hear from you!
