Orange International Networks Infrastructures & Services (OINIS) is a technical department serving the group at an international dimension. The IMEA (Indirect, Middle East & Africa) region is the department within Networks which is responsible for end to end ownership of network infrastructure planning, deployment, and management in a technical & financial dimension. We manage carriers and collaborate with regional teams (Sourcing, Business Unit, GDO) and entities to design, plan and deploy regional network to guarantee optimal quality of service and maximize both profitability and competitiveness. We are a ‘HYBRID’ team, with a very unique mixture of technical, business and financial responsibilities operating in an AGILE environment driven by empowerment, autonomy, experimentation, transparency, cooperation, adaptation, and flexibility.
Egypt
In your capacity as Senior Network Infrastructure & Access Manager you will be accountable for the delivery of the Cluster strategy – including end to end execution of initiatives triggered for optimization, organic growth and scalability of the international network. With stellar program management skills, your orchestration shall be as efficient as possible to align the direction of the cluster with the overall Networks strategy for maximum benefit to OB and its customers. You will have a can-do attitude, strong quality orientation, and cost awareness – all initiatives supported are of an international scope and require a very high level of efficiency, cultural awareness and solid knowledge of networking technologies.
This role requires in depth data analysis, stakeholder management, direction, coordination and evaluation of projects and reporting.
Drive business improvement initiatives to achieve 80 m€ p.a. budget ambitions & contribute to achievement of cost to revenue ratio targets
Provide ongoing, strategic, technical and supportive guidance to the Project Management team
Manage/develop relationships with other Networks teams and multiple virtual teams (GPOs, Programme Teams, Sourcing, …)
Report clear & concise on financial & operational project performance at Senior management level
Act as an internal consultant on multiple enterprise network related initiatives
Manage 3rd party vendors and lively interaction with internal/external stakeholders to orchestrate delivery of strategic regional initiatives
Coordinate & drive the technological transformation of the data/voice networks from legacy to modern technology platforms
Maintain overall control of managed projects, priorities, financial performance, and utilization of digital tools
University Degree in a specialization or Telecommunications, Business and/or Engineering
Strong technical and business acumen/skills particularly telecom platforms & industry knowledge
Fluent English required, both spoken and written
Fluent French is a desirable (not mandatory)
Fluent Arabic is a bonus (not mandatory)
Strong computer literacy & proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Basic scripting/data manipulation/BI skills are desirable (not mandatory)
Prior experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies are desirable
Coding experience in Big Data environment (e.g. Python) are desirable (not mandatory)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in ICT vertical
Very agile with data crunching and analysis, business case building as well as budgeting, forecasting and working with financial data
Stellar communication skills, flexible, agile, adaptable with a can-do attitude, and willingness to learn/explore/develop new skills
Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands
In-depth knowledge and understanding of business needs with the ability to establish/maintain high level of customer trust and confidence
Ability to operate with autonomy and in a virtual team environment
Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with both business and IT individuals at all levels including the executive level
Understanding of Orange Business products and/or circuit provisioning tools (e.g. SESAM, GINI, and FILEADE) is a plus
