About the role

Contribute to the engineering of Orange Business Connectivity solutions based on Cisco technology. This role involves a high level of technical skill, working with cross-functional teams and resolving issues with internal teams and the Cisco supplier. The main objective is to ensure good quality of service and optimum security of Orange Business SDWAN connectivity services worldwide.

Job duties :

  • Present connectivity development in the BUILD of SDWAN connectivity services in conjunction with marketing and security experts.
  • Monitor technological developments with suppliers in order to develop new services or evolutions, in conjunction with the marketing teams.
  • Design the technical architecture of the services.
  • Design and test the implementation of the services on Cisco devices (routers, switches...) based on architecture design et security rules.
  • Write equipment configuration guides.
  • Implementing test mock-ups, performing tests and writing test reports.
  • Support the IT teams in charge of industrialisation.
  • Monitor anomalies (manufacturer, IT) detected in the lab or in the field.
  • Regular interaction with stakeholders (pre-sales, operations, security, supplier Cisco...).
  • Be the reference point and support pre-sales (THINK), and operational (BUILD & RUN) teams.
  • Validate customised offers.

About you

Minimum 12 years Telecommunication and Network experience. BSC in Engineering, and master’s degree is a plus. Certifications in Cisco CCNP, and CCIE Routing & Switching is a plus. Must have at least 8 years of experience designing, deploying, and implementing WAN networks in accordance with industry best practices. Strong experience in Cisco router and switch design, configuration, troubleshooting. Strong knowledge and experience in IP communication and routing is required (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, VRRP, HSRP). Experienced with logical design models (L2/L3, Spanning tree, VFR, VTP, VLANs, PPP, physical cabling). Working technical knowledge of network control protocols (QoS, PfR, NTP, DHCP), network management protocols (CDP, FTP, TFTP, SFTP, SCP, SNMP) and security protocols (SSH, AAA, IPSec). Experienced with WAN/LAN and transport technologies (Ethernet, Frame Relay, DMVPN, IPSec and MPLS). Experienced with lab testing (based on physical device or GNS3 emulation), network testing (IXIA, iPerf), scripting (EEM, python, robot framework). Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills with the ability to work well in a collaborative environment. Able to conduct research into networking issues and products as required. Strong customer service orientation with proven analytical and problem-solving abilities. Previous experience in team leading technical experts is a plus. English fluency is a must.
