Job Description

At Mercell, we're on a mission to revolutionize public procurement, making it accessible and effortless for everyone involved. Imagine a world where public buyers and visionary suppliers come together seamlessly to make a great deal easier and shape the future. That's what we're all about.

With a dynamic culture built on continuous growth, trust, and collaboration, Mercell offers an environment where your talents can thrive. You will be part of an international environment with ambitious and dedicated colleagues who are passionate about what they do and supported to be themselves.

Together, let's shape the future and create real value for society, one innovative solution at a time.

Your Mission

As an IT Support Specialist at Mercell, you will be part of our Enterprise Support team, reporting to the IT Manager. We are a team of three professionals responsible for ensuring that every Mercell employee has the IT support and tools they need to do their best work and that we are continuously raising the bar on how we deliver that.

This is a hands-on role with real variety: from day-to-day support to contributing to IT projects that bring new technology into the business.

Core Responsibilities

  • Balance continuous improvement work (automation and new functionality) with business-as-usual tasks (service desk requests and team administration)
  • Be the technical point of contact between Mercell's two Danish offices, Copenhagen and Odense. Occasional travel between the two sites is required
  • Maintain and support our existing IT stack, including Okta, Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence), Setyl, Microsoft products (M365, Azure, Intune), and Google Workspace
  • Build and maintain automations using tools such as PowerShell, Claude Code, AWS, and APIs, applying AI where it speeds up the work
  • Plan and prioritise your own workload against business goals, without waiting to be assigned tasks

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience within an enterprise environment (ideally 3+ years) in a similar IT support or systems administration role
  • Previous experience with Microsoft and Google environments, plus strong troubleshooting and automation skills
  • Ability to explain and demonstrate technical concepts to non-technical colleagues
  • Experience with AV and meeting room equipment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a PE/VC-backed company with a complex environment
  • Experience writing business cases or structuring project delivery and research
  • Understanding of on-prem, legacy infrastructure deployments (AD, VPN)
  • Experience supporting a Google Workspace to M365 migration
  • Experience using AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT to speed up research and automation in your own work

Start date: As soon as possible

Duration: Full time

Workplace type: Hybrid - working onsite at the office minimum 3 days and from home, balancing flexibility with collaboration

Location: Denmark, Copenhagen
