Overview
The Sr. Merchandising Manager, Offline for Crocs China reports to the Merchandising Director and supports the merchandising vision across Wholesale Partner Stores and Own Retail stores. This role brings together brand creative, marketing initiatives, product strategy, and store-type assortment planning to create a compelling consumer experience while enabling the commercial team to drive sales and margin performance.
What You'll Do
- Drive product assortment strategies and seasonal product storytelling to support consumer demand, brand objectives, and revenue growth.
- Drive execution of Go-To-Market (GTM) initiatives and cross-channel product plans in alignment with global merchandising direction.
- Manage assortment, pricing, and promotional activities to optimize sales, margin, and inventory performance.
- Manage business performance reviews and action plans to achieve revenue and profitability targets as well as identifying opportunities and risks.
- Communicate product lifecycle strategies, seasonal priorities, and key product stories across cross-functional teams and business partners.
- Build and maintain good relationships with partners to ease communication and serve for long term cooperations with brand.
- Maintain strong knowledge of consumer behavior, market trends, competitive landscape, and store performance to support merchandising decisions.
- Track project execution, store feedback, and market insights to drive continuous improvement in assortment, pricing, and promotional strategies.
What You'll Bring to the Table
- Bachelor’s degree or above in business, merchandising, marketing, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of progressive experience in planning and merchandising; footwear experience preferred.
- Proven revenue accountability with strong understanding of market competition, consumer behavior, and market trends.
- Knowledge of fashion and product trends with the ability to translate insights into commercial concepts and seasonal product stories.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to take initiative and adapt quickly to change.
- Excellent communication skills, fluent English required, with the ability to simplify complex messages and influence stakeholders across all levels.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; advanced Excel knowledge preferred.
- Ability to work successfully in a highly cross-functional matrix environment; travel as required.
