The IDEAL School of Manhattan

The IDEAL School of Manhattan is a K-12+ independent, nonprofit inclusion school that broadens the definition of diversity in education to encompass varying abilities. Founded in 2005 and headquartered at 5 Hanover Square in New York, New York, it was the first school of its kind in New York City, filling a crucial gap in the educational landscape by welcoming all types of learners. Its student population reflects a wide range of races, religions, cultures, family configurations, socio-economic backgrounds, strengths, and challenges.
