Ocracoke Health Center, Inc. is a non-profit, community-based organization operating three Federally Qualified Health Centers located in Ocracoke, Engelhard, and Manteo, North Carolina. Founded in 1981 and headquartered in Ocracoke, the organization has provided family practice medical care for decades and was designated a Rural Health Center in 1982. Its mission is to maintain a primary care program for all citizens, residents, and visitors, with particular focus on those with limited access to adequate medical services.
