MACT Health Board, Inc.

MACT Health Board, Inc., founded in 1969, is a wellness and fitness services organization dedicated to improving the health status of the American Indian/Alaska Native population across Mariposa, Amador, Calaveras, and Tuolumne counties. Its comprehensive health care system is designed to preserve and promote the traditional well-being and cultural sensitivity of the tribal communities it serves, while also welcoming the broader community. Governed by representatives from the American Indian Council of Mariposa, Calaveras Band of Mi Wuk Indians, Jackson Band of Miwuk Indians, and Sierra Native American Council, the organization operates multiple licensed clinics, including its original Tuolumne Rural Indian Health Center as well as facilities in Sonora, Jackson, San Andreas, and Mariposa. Services have expanded over time to include medical, dental, outreach, and behavioral health care. Headquartered at 52 S Main St, Angels Camp, California, MACT Health Board employs more than 90 people.
