Founded in 1981 and headquartered in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Latshaw Drilling is an oil and gas company committed to advancing American energy independence through reliable, high-quality drilling operations. As demand grew in 2005, the company expanded its fleet with new SCR rig construction and later modernized its equipment to meet the requirements of high-capacity top drives, mud pumps, and next-generation AC rigs. In October 2012, Latshaw acquired the assets of Keen Energy, based in Stillwater, Oklahoma, becoming one of the largest privately held drilling contractors in the United States. Today, with a fleet of 41 rigs, including the newest NOV-designed AC Ideal Rigs, the company is well positioned to meet customer needs now and in the future. Latshaw Drilling employs more than 300 people, whose dedication and expertise remain central to the company's mission and ongoing success.
