Founded in 1977, Gándara Center is a Mental Health Care organization dedicated to promoting the well-being of Hispanics, African Americans, and other culturally diverse populations through innovative, culturally competent behavioral health, prevention, and education services. Headquartered at 147 Norman St, West Springfield, Massachusetts, the organization respects the dignity, civil rights, and cultural diversity of all people it serves. Gándara Center looks beyond current practices to provide comprehensive services and resources, while partnering with regional organizations to build safer, healthier communities. Each year, the center serves more than 11,000 people at over 40 locations across Massachusetts. With more than 600 employees, Gándara Center continues to emphasize empowerment, innovation, and community in its mission.
