East Bay Community Action Program (EBCAP) is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization founded in 1965 and headquartered in East Providence, Rhode Island. With more than 270 employees, EBCAP is dedicated to providing high-quality, comprehensive, and accessible health and human services that help individuals reach their fullest potential. In 2016, EBCAP merged with East Bay Center, a recognized Community Mental Health Center and Integrated Health Home, expanding its expertise and service offerings while also gaining provisional approval as an Accountable Care Entity focused on collaborative, high-quality care. Today, EBCAP offers a broad range of services, including integrated family health, behavioral, and dental care; Head Start and Early Head Start programs; Women, Infants and Children services; family development; home visiting through Healthy Families America; heating and energy assistance; and victim support services. Guided by its vision to be the premier human service agency in the East Bay, EBCAP remains committed to improving community well-being through collaboration and innovation.
