Community Reach Center

Community Reach Center is a mental health care organization founded in 1957 in Westminster, Colorado, where it remains headquartered today. Originally established by a small group of mental health professionals from the University of Colorado Medical Center, the organization became the first in its region to receive support under the Community Mental Health Act, part of President Kennedy's initiative to improve mental health treatment nationwide. This early support enabled the creation of a trusted care environment that drew interest from other states. Today, with more than 300 employees, Community Reach Center serves around 10,000 people annually, extending its services beyond clinical settings into schools, homes, and communities across Adams County. With over 65 years of experience, the organization continues to provide accessible and compassionate behavioral health support for all.
