Commercial Bank of California (CBC) is a full-service, FDIC-insured community bank headquartered at 19752 MacArthur Blvd., Suite 100, Irvine, California. Founded in 2003, it is the largest Latino-owned bank in California and a certified Minority Depository Institution, serving businesses, nonprofits and organizations throughout the state. Owned and led by entrepreneurs, CBC has drawn on the guidance of local business leaders such as William Lyon, Paul Folino and Alex Meruelo, who have served on its Board of Directors, to deliver customized banking solutions for small and mid-sized California businesses. Since 2013, under CEO Ash Patel and Chairman Paul Folino, the bank has pursued a strategic growth plan that fostered an entrepreneurial culture and expanded its asset base to $3.5 billion as of December 2024.
