Founded in 1959 by William Jacobs, Columbus Fair Auto Auction started as a single-lane operation at the Ohio State Fairgrounds, built on principles of fairness and exceptional customer service. Jacobs saw the need for a trusted marketplace where automobile dealers could efficiently source and sell used vehicles. In 1977, the company relocated to an 85-acre facility in Obetz, Ohio, positioned to support its long-term growth. Today, headquartered at 4700 Groveport Rd, Obetz, Ohio, CFAA operates within the motor vehicle manufacturing industry with more than 290 employees, offering 11 lanes, a full-service reconditioning center, a Rub and Touch shop, a mechanical repair center, and an on-site test track. This growth reflects the company's ongoing commitment to innovation, dealer success, and industry leadership.
