Bottom Line

Founded in 1997 and headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts, Bottom Line is a higher education nonprofit dedicated to closing the gap of educational inequity. The organization provides trusted advisors who help first-generation, low-income students of color get into the right college, persist toward a degree, and launch successful careers. As one of the first college support organizations to prioritize completion rather than just access, Bottom Line has achieved best-in-class graduation rates that narrow the divide between first-generation students and their wealthier peers. Today, with more than 500 employees, Bottom Line operates regional programs across Massachusetts, New York City, and Chicago, collectively serving over 7,000 students each year.
