Are you a technically qualified sales professional with proven pump experience within the mining or wastewater sector? This opportunity is ideal for a driven individual who enjoys developing new business, building customer relationships and providing technically sound pumping solutions.
Duties & Responsibilities
A well-established pump solutions company is seeking a Sales Representative to grow its customer base across the mining and wastewater markets. The successful candidate will identify new business opportunities, manage existing accounts and recommend suitable pump solutions based on customer requirements. Key responsibilities will include conducting customer and site visits, preparing quotations and technical proposals, following up on enquiries and managing the complete sales process from initial contact through to order placement.
Education:
Relevant technical qualification Mechanical Engineering qualification would be advantageous
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- Proven technical sales experience
- Pump sales experience is essential
- Experience selling into the mining or wastewater sector
- Ability to understand customer applications and recommend suitable pump solutions
- New business development and account-management experience
- Experience preparing quotations and technical proposals
- Strong negotiation and customer relationship-management skills
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel
